KCFAA’s benefit, like its Gala, serves two purposes – to raise funds necessary to sustain KCFAA’s year-round programs, and to bring together people from diverse ethnic and corporate communities.

KCFAA Benefit 2010 was held in September at the Folly Theater during the 2010 fall Residency of Ailey II. It was followed by an After Party, where guests mingled – and danced with! – the Ailey II performers at a street celebration in the heart of the Crossroads hosted by Michael Smith’s Restaurant, 19th & Main.
