AileyCamp The Group

For more than 25 years KCFAA has offered you and your family a wonderful way to begin or enrich your appreciation for the arts as the official second home for the world renowned ambassadors of American culture, Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater and Ailey II. There is no better way to experience KCFAA than to become a member.

Your support helps to provide art education and inspiration to school children, educators, parents, and audience members.  And while all that’s taking place, KCFAA is also the organization where you can personally experience being a part of the most diverse audience for the arts in Kansas City.

Join today and make a difference – in the lives of Kansas City’s young people.

Pioneer New Works

A special gift from you as a pioneer philanthropist will help fund the many elements involved in the creation of a new work, from choreographer and composer fees, to the design of costumes, sets and lighting. KCFAA will be acknowledged in the program credits for the work every time it is performed in the U.S. and abroad. Previous gifts from KCFAA and the Sara & Bill Morgan New Works Endowment Fund has supported Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater’s New Works of For Bird with Love (1984), Caverna Magica (1986), Opus McShann (1988), Love Stories (2004), Reminiscin’ (2005), The Groove to Nobody’s Business (2007), Go in Grace (2008), Among Us (Private Spaces: Public Spaces) (2009), Dancing Spirit (2009) and A Forgotten Time (2010).
