KCFAA's 25th Year

Believe it or not, it’s been 25 years!  It was 1983 when dancer/choreographer Alvin Ailey and KCFAA Chairman Emeritus Allan Gray sat in a barbershop near 18th & Vine to envision what would later become Kansas City Friends of Alvin Ailey.  Neither of them, or the many civic leaders who believed in Mr. Ailey’s vision, knew then that KCFAA would reach and positively impact more than 1 million people through the beauty and humanity of dance.

KCFAA invites you to celebrate 25 Years of great accomplishments, including many awards and honors
